The Story
Grid Forty Seven is Luke's take on the kind of big, complex, cult-favourite gins that build a following through sheer botanical density rather than restraint. Bottled at 47% Vol — strong, but a notch below Heavy Gauge's Navy Strength — and built around floral notes layered over fresh citrus and dried cranberry, it's the most maximalist gin in the range.
The gin for anyone who's already tried a straightforward London Dry and wants to see what else the still can do.
How it's made
The botanicals macerate in ethanol for 24 hours before being distilled in our new 50-litre pot still: juniper berries, dried cranberry, fresh grapefruit, fresh lemon, dried lavender, rose petals, grains of paradise, hibiscus, and sarsaparilla. The resulting distillate is then slowly brought to bottling strength over three days.
