Not what most people expect from a Navy Rum but very popular because it's smooth and full of flavour
Most people expect a Navy Rum to be dark, ours isn't. Mainly because I had never had a Navy Rum when I developed it but I liked Navy Gin. However the higher proof allows for even more flavour to come out of that delicious Landlocked Rum base distillate, especially when you add it to a cocktail or mixer.
If you like strong spirits with bags of flavour, this is the one for you! Just simply fermented molasses that's double distilled and proofed down with de-mineralised water.

Having waited for the free sample which has still not been fulfilled due to the overwhelming demand I decided to order 2 x 200ml bottles of landlocked rum and as a bonus got a 5o ml bottle free. These are a great size as most bottles are 750ml or 1 litre as the sole rum drinker in the house take ages to use.
They were dispatched promptly by Luke and they arrived very quickly despite being given free postage. I was a bit worried when they arrived as the outer paper packaging was a bit damaged (probably due to the awful weather we have had) but I’m glad to say they were wrapped up well inside and arrived with no damage. I haven’t tried them yet but am looking forward to opening them soon. I love dark rum and spiced rum so I’ve got the best of both. I usually drink my rum with coke but a card inside gave me a suggestion to try with vermouth. I’m looking forward to doing that. One of my favourite rums is Dead Man’s Fingers which I initially could only buy in Asda or from Amazon. It’s everywhere now and also in lots of different flavours. I wish Luke and Three Countries Spirits the success he deserves for the passion he is putting into his business of English rum.

The landlocked navy rum warmed my brain into happy memories of times at home with Mum and Dad. A small dash in my morning tea and later poured over the Christmas pudding.
