Spiced Rum, the broadest descriptive category of a spirit ever!
A spiced rum is simply a rum that has been favoured in some way. However, having been a chef and a comfort eater when I think of spices I think apple crumble, Christmas spice and mince pies. So that's what I worked with.
I combined orange and lime peel, vanilla, cinnamon, dried ginger and tonka bean with our Landlocked Rum base distillate and a touch of homemade dark caramel for balance. Eventually I found the right combination to created a flavour bomb that is a delight on it's own and equally flavoursome when mixed.

Both Rums taste great. My preference is for the darker one. This is my second bottle and thought I’d buy the lighter one to try. It does not disappoint. Can’t wait to take a visit, as it’s pretty local to me.
