What could be a better way to enjoy our delicious Landlocked English White Rum than with an absolute classic sour cocktail, The Daiquiri?
We're not re-inventing the wheel here, this is the classical way to make this popular drink. A blend of mostly rum with equal parts of lime juice and sugar syrup. Make sure you measure the lime juice and don't just squeeze in half a lime, we've got to get the balance right.
Recipe:
- 50ml Landlocked English White Rum
- 25ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 25ml Sugar Syrup
Method
- Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker along with ice. Shake for about 20 seconds and strain into your favourite glass
Top Tip! Don't buy sugar syrup. Stick the kettle on and boil some water. Weigh equal parts of white sugar and boiling water into a jug or bowl. Whisk until dissolved and allow to cool before using.
