The Story
Most gifts get opened and that's the end of it. This one has a second half.
Choose a bottle: our Pineapple Rum, the one people ask for most, or The Hearth, from our Grid & Grove gins. With it comes a card with a code for a place on a distillery tour here in Fenny Stratford. It's about an hour. They see the stills, and taste either five of our rums and Dialled, or all five Grid & Grove gins and Gin 17•09. Both tours finish with a cocktail. They choose the tour and the date online, using the code on the card. It doesn't have to match the bottle.

The process
I start with raw molasses — the same base ingredient used to make Caribbean rum, fermented from scratch here in Fenny Stratford. No bought-in base spirit. No concentrate. The molasses ferments for 14 days, creating a wash I then double-distil through our modern, stainless steel pot still.
