Forget the standard bourbon base; we’ve reimagined this heavyweight classic through a 'Waste Not' lens. The foundation is our Landlocked English Dark Spiced Rum, crafted from scratch in Milton Keynes. This isn't just a spiced spirit—it’s a complex blend of our base 72% 'hearts,' a 50/50 dunder essence for funk, and a subtle infusion of second-use spices.
We marry this robust spirit with a deep brown sugar syrup and a precise dual-bitters blend of Angostura and Orange. The result is a cocktail with immense gravitational pull—notes of warm vanilla, charred molasses, and bright citrus zest. It is a sophisticated, slow-sipping tribute to culinary precision and English rum-making.
The Serve: Pour 100ml over ice in a rocks glass. Stir gently for 20 seconds and garnish with a thick strip of orange peel to unlock the aromatics.

A standard serve for an Old Fashioned is 100ml, meaning you’ll get 5 generous cocktails per bottle.
What makes this different from a standard Bourbon Old Fashioned?
While bourbon offers oak and corn sweetness, our Dark Old Fashioned uses our scratch-made English Rum. This provides a unique "funky" depth from the dunder and a complex spice profile that you won't find in a traditional grain spirit.
How should I store the bottle once it’s open?
Because this is a high-alcohol, spirit-forward cocktail without fresh juices, it is very shelf-stable. Keep it in a cool, dark place (like a liquor cabinet), and it will stay perfect for months—though we doubt it will last that long!
